At the core of ministry at Mission Springs is our summer staff. We hire only the highest quality college-age individuals. Their employment is based upon an in-depth interview, personal references, evidence of personal integrity, character, and a compelling love for kids. Each cabin has a maximum of eight campers for each counselor. Counselors and staff are trained and supervised by our Mission Springs ministry team which has over twenty years of combined experience in youth ministry.

Why should you apply? Have you ever noticed that when you are serving others, you yourself are blessed?
Kids and families come to camp and meet Jesus; staff often have the same experience.

We Have Vision For Our Staff

We want to train, support, equip, encourage, stretch, empower, motivate, challenge, prepare, inspire, and love our staff. Whew. . .

Your Faith Will Grow

We show both kids and adults our love for Jesus by serving them. This is hard work, but it's worth it. You'll be challenged, and we're committed to seeing you grow.

You Will Have Good Company

Mission Springs is big enough to do awesome programming, but small enough to feel personal. Our full-time staff is top-notch. You'll make life-long friends. We have!

Santa Cruz Mountains

We have no problem bragging about our location. God put some extra effort into this place. The Redwood forest and Pacific coast are hard to beat.

Surf and Turf

Santa Cruz is known for its surf, but we personally think this is one of the best Mountain Biking, Hiking, and Coffee drinkin' places in the state.

A Quoteable Quote

You wouldn't believe how many college students have told us that they had the best summer of their life here. "To say I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Mission Springs would be an understatement. I watched men respect women. I saw campers loved by the counselors. I nearly died of laughter on skit night. I heard honest, vulnerable testimonies of staff members. I saw Jesus. Pure and simple."
