Every winter, Mission Springs can receive as much as 50 inches of rain. When it rains, there is literally no place to go for our 4,000 Outdoor Education students and retreat guests to recreate. Can you imagine camp without recreation?
Now, imagine a Mission Springs with state-of-the-art basketball and volleyball courts, climbing wall, and a reliable place for other programmed activities, 365 days a year.
This is our vision… a Covered Sports Court and 250-seat Amphitheater which will provide a year-round place for recreation and intimate community space for all of our Mission Springs campers and guests.
Construction began in early December 2017 and should be completed in time for the summer. Currently, they are working on the foundation.
